BIAF is a cultural event that practices global cultural exchange activities for the harmonization of culture and art, and aims to express artistic and cultural activities such as design, visual arts, performing arts, traditional arts, and music, as well as cultural issues related to green growth and green start through art.
The event is a global event with over 20 countries participating each year, including South Korea, China, the United States, Japan, Iran, and Russia. In 2022, 796 artworks from 40 countries were registered, in 2023, 1,187 artworks from 74 countries were registered, and in 2024, 1,164 artworks from 75 countries were registered under the theme of ‘Beautiful Future’.
In particular, the “Chin In Sun Lin” China-Korea Calligraphy Special Invitational Exhibition, organized by Dongmyung University and the Consulate General of China in Busan to celebrate the 32nd anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Korea in 2024, will feature 82 works by 12 Korean artists and 30 Chinese artists.
It is an international event that exchanges works related to culture and art such as overcoming corona, daily life, international cultural and artistic exchanges, convergence of culture and art, and culture with artistic activities, and green energy, and communicates culture and art between countries through exhibitions, competitions, performances, academic events, etc.
