Honoured to join the jury of the 10th edition of the MONOVISIONS Awards.

Black and white photography has always possessed a unique power — the ability to strip away distraction and reveal emotion in its purest form.
This year, I am honored to bring that perspective to the prestigious MONOVISIONS Awards as a jury member for its landmark 10th edition.
As a fine art photographer working predominantly in black and white, my practice has long explored the relationship between memory, atmosphere, and silence within the photographic image.
Without the language of color, photography becomes something more intimate — a dialogue between light, shadow, texture, and feeling. It invites viewers to slow down and truly see.
Over the years, my artistic journey has been shaped by experimentation, conceptual storytelling, and a fascination with the emotional depth monochrome photography can achieve. Whether capturing fragmented landscapes, poetic abstractions, or quiet human presence, my work seeks to create images that linger beyond the immediate moment.
Joining the jury of MONOVISIONS Awards feels especially meaningful because the competition has become one of the most respected international platforms dedicated entirely to black and white photography.
Celebrating its 10th edition marks not only an important milestone for the awards, but also for the evolving global community of monochrome artists who continue to redefine the medium in bold and unexpected ways.
Therefore I look forward to discovering photographers whose work challenges perception, embraces artistic courage, and reminds us why black and white photography remains timeless in an increasingly saturated visual world.
